He was predeceased by: his parents, Sigrid Torgerson and Theodore "Ted" Torgerson; his sisters, Elsie Hillis (Jack), Christine Frantzen (Herman) and Valerie Griffith; and his daughter Rhonda Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Mabel Torgerson; his siblings, Torger Torgerson and Carolyn Robinson (Dan); his brother-in-law Colin Griffith; his children, Kelvin Torgerson (Ronna), Cheri Sandford (Bill) and Todd Torgerson (Laura); his grandchildren, Kara Scott, Stephanie Eby, Sara Nelson, Craig Torgerson, Matthew Torgerson, Erica Burke, Nicole Maksymchuk, Marc McCallum, Alexandra Torgerson and Natalie Torgerson; and his great grandchildren, Daisy Nelson, Aksel Torgerson, Abigail Torgerson, Madison Burke, Liv Burke, Brooklynn Burke, Charlotte Burke, Alexis Maksymchuk and Mackenzie Maksymchuk. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Pentecostal Church (734036 Range Rd 80, Sexsmith, AB T0H3C0).
