He was predeceased by: his parents, Matias Krantz and Elisabeth Krantz; his son Elvin; his wife Mabel Tofteland; his great grandchild Damian; his siblings, Arnold, Jim and Agnes; and his brothers-in-law, John and Tom.

He is survived by: his children, Thomas (Lori), Lisa and Toni; his grandchildren, Korlee, Talyn (Leon), Kirsti (Ryan), Kelsey (Gerritt) and Kyler; and his great grandchildren, Dane, Kensi, Brooks, Odessa, Andi, Oslo and Rori. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
