He was predeceased by: his parents, Barry Harper and Eileen Harper; his son Michael Harper; and his grandparents, Sydney, Gladys Harper, Frank and Molly Adams.

He is survived by: his children, Doug, Jarvis Harper (Kristyn), Bradley Harper (Ashley), Evan Harper and Talaea Harper (Virgil McClarty); the mother of his children Connie Harper; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Harlowe, Milo, Maddison, Presley, Nova, Zayden (Harper), Chloe and Nels (McClarty); and his siblings, Darlene Geurtson (Geurt), Deb Brown, David Harper (Joanne) and Dianne Armstrong (Darrel). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
