He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Winnie Beattie and Johnny Beattie; his former spouse Pat McGonigal; his siblings, Colleen and Dave; his wife Marilyn Janssen of Dawson Creek; his children, Tom, Colleen and Dave; his stepchildren, Karen, John, Steve, Linda, Melody and Arliss; his grandchildren, Laura, Mark, Phillip, Casey and Brennan; his great grandchild Beckam; and his siblings, Ann, Jackie and Peggy. He was also cherished by many step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
