She was predeceased by: her husband Chris. She is survived by: her children, Eric (Teresa) of Sidney, Carla (Erik) of Norway, Marijke (Carl) of Crofton and Loyola (Garth) of New Zealand; and her grandchildren, Ryan (Brehanna), Kevin (Nathalie), Aaron (Jackie), Cory (Daphne), Bryn (Mike), Karl (Ashley), Kris, Tor (Tori), Tyler (Katie), Jayse (Josh), Hahlay and Nicholas. She is also survived by her 13 great grandchildren; as well as her sister in Quesnel, her brother and sisters.
In lieu of flowers the family welcomes donations in memory of Mary Van Rooyen to KidsSport Canada.
