He is survived by: his mother Maureen Murray of Creston, BC; his son Nathan Ervin Berchtold (Alberta); his grandson Dominic Ryan Jacob of Trail, BC; his siblings, Barbara MacKenzie (Steve) of Oliver, BC, Violet Bensler (Arvid) of Oliver, BC and Fredrick Berchtold Jr. of Creston, BC; his stepbrother Miles (Carolyn) of Creston, BC; and his wife Cindy. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
