He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy Thompson and Alice Thompson; his wife Lauraine; his brothers, Russell and Raymond; his children, Daryl and Novia (Walter Knihnicki); his granddaughters, Jazmin, Rory Knihnicki and Amber Thompson; and his siblings, Clayton, Betty (Ed Simmons), David (Patti) and Lois (Fred Sapach).

Due to Covid19, there will be a graveside service at a later date to be announced.
