He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur 'Art' and Helena Butler; his father-in-law Gerard Warkentin; and his sister-in-law Jean Warkentin. He is survived by: his wife Chris (Warkentin); his family, Jessica Butler (Rob Ondzik) and Michael Butler (Magdelyn Asimakis); his grandsons, Pierce and Noel Gateley; and his siblings, David Butler (Arlene) and Louise Gyrlevich (Frank).
