Ruth Rüegsegger Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Rüegsegger (Courtenay, British Columbia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 26, 2024 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Ruth departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ruth may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ruth leaves behind.

She is survived by: her children, Christian Rüegsegger (Magie), Urs Rüegsegger (Charlotte) and Monika Potts (Robin); and her grandchildren, Peter Rüegsegger (Rachel), Siena, Jeremy Potts (Katrina) and Emily Potts (Austin).

In lieu of flowers and to honour Ruth, hug and spend time with a grandparent or elderly person.
