Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Friesen (Courtenay, British Columbia), born in Gem, Alberta, who passed away at the age of 93, on July 12, 2021. She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Friesen; her siblings, Jack Penner, Anne Newbery and Elizabeth Enns; and her daughter Karen.

She is survived by: her children, Marlene (John Unrau), Barb (Ric Koop), Ray Friesen (Linda), Glenn Friesen and Molly Friesen; and her sister Helen Enns. She is also survived by 19 children.

Due to COVID restrictions, there will be a small family celebration.
