He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Strachan and Flora Strachan of Courtenay. He is survived by: his granddaughter Betty Ann; his children, Joseph (Arlene), Michael and Roberta (Graham); his granddaughters, Sydney, Lindsey and Sara; and his sisters, Blodwin and Judy. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
