It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Gordon Mason of Courtenay, British Columbia, who passed away on May 13, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Alice; his parents, Carlyle Mason and Lucille Mason; and his brother Darryl Mason. He is survived by: his son Carlisle Mason (Richelle); his stepson Chauncey Soderberg (Nancy); his grandchildren, Susan Peppiatt, Kendra Soderberg, Kale Soderberg, Dane Soderberg, Chadwick Mason and Veronica Mason; and his siblings, Ian Mason, Randy Mason and Malorie Matte. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
