He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Adey and Betty Adey; and his siblings, Ann, Joan, Lorna and Ken.

He is survived by: his wife Gayle; his children, Jayne (Mark) and Frank (Linda); his grandchildren, Samantha, Mikayla and Brandon; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Olivia.
