She was predeceased by: her husband John Karle; and her brother Wilfred Booth (Helene). She is survived by: her siblings, Beverly (Fred) and Mary-Lou; her children, Paul (Susan), Karyn (Brian) and Mary (Bill); and her grandchildren, Michelle (Robert), Lisa (Michael), Glen (Courtney) and Todd (Claire).
