“Condolences from the McGaire and Hall families. Dilys was a close friend of Nana (Shirley McGaire) and shared cherished moments and global adventures. We last saw Dilys at Nana's Celebration of Life about a month ago, and we were hoping to organize a lunch or dinner with Dilys soon. Despite having met Dilys only a handful of times, the warmth and kindness she exuded, much like Nana, forged a remarkable friendship. “Dear Family of Dilys Loucks, my sincere condolences on Dilys' passing, she was such a lovely person, I always enjoyed chatting with her. Dilys attended the Osteofit classes at Edmonds where I was the instructor for several years, she was an inspiration and had such a quick wit. She passed away so quickly, which from our last conversation a month ago, that is what she was hoping would be the case. We have lost a dear friend. Barbara Davison”

“I cannot believe that Dilys has passed away. I met Dilys in 2005 at osteofit and we were in the Red Hat group together. We just had lunch on Friday, Nov. 10 at the Hilton in Burnaby. She was unusually quiet that day as we made plans for our annual solstice gathering in Dec. and and for a lunch at the Mullbary in January. Please let me know if there is going to be a service so that I may send the information out to all of the ladies that knew her. By the way, she lived in Burnaby.”
