Charles Robert Strachan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Robert Strachan of Coquitlam, British Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 3, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Strachan and Jean Strachan; his brother Michael Strachan; his daughter Valerie Strachan; and his grandson Alex Utley.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Strachan; his children, Cliff Strachan (Sara), Liz Ellsworth (Luke) and John Strachan (Suzanne); his sister Carol Sheilds; his granddaughter Sarah Strachan; and his nephew Stacey Mackeil. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Arbor Chapel, Valley View Funeral Home (14660 72nd Ave, Surrey, BC V3S 2E7). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (3345 Robson Dr, Coquitlam, BC V3E2X8). A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Valley View Memorial Gardens (14660 72nd Ave, Surrey, BC V3S 2E7).
