He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bill August and Henny August; his wife Patti; his children, Chris of Vernon and Jennifer Rathbone (Doug) of Calgary; his grandchildren, Tye Kober, Mya Parr (Jas), Halle August of Vernon, Austin and Finn Rathbone of Calgary; and his siblings, Brent August (Rosalinde) and Claudia Barnes (Tom). He was also cherished by great grandchildren, nephews and dear friends.
