She was predeceased by: her parents, Christina Margaret Nicholson and Robert Forbes; her siblings, Grace MacDonald Flaska, Anne MacRae Lawrence and Robert Nicholson Forbes; and her family, Eilidh Skye Knudsen and Knud Soren Knudsen.

She is survived by: her husband Stewart Ellis Crerar; her children, Katherine Crerar (Steven Knudsen) and Duncan Crerar (Lana Riva Crerar); her cousin England; and her family, Katherine and Steven. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
