He was predeceased by: his parents, William (Bill) and Jennie; and his sisters, Peggie Lafortune (Vern) and Eva Lehto (Harry). He is survived by: his wife Joan; his daughter Janet Bennett; his grandchildren, Brittany (Steve), Megan, Kelsey and Madison; his daughters, Nancy Haugen (Raymond) and Peggie Roth (Bill); his grandchildren, Kayla Kern (Jordan), Thea, Oliver, Christina and Rosa; his great grandchild Hugo; his grandson Logan Roth (Shelby); his great grandchildren, Jillian and Jaclyn; his sister Rena; and his niece Alberta.

Throughout the COVID pandemic, they felt safe and well cared for.
