Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gregg Phillip Townsend (Comox, British Columbia), born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan, who passed away at the age of 66, on March 8, 2018. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Edgar "Ted" Townsend and Rose Helen Horovenko; his brother Bob Townsend; his brother-in-law Dave Kuny; and his niece Caren Kuny.

He is survived by: his wife Dianne Townsend (Welsch); his daughters, Lindsay Townsend (Glenn Scott) and Jessie Kobelka (Errin); his grandchildren, Dianna Townsend, Sawyer and Adrian Kobelka; and his sisters, Sharon Kuny (Jack Evans), Lanie Salm (Marvin) and Julie Hulsebosch (Frank). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Crohn's and Colitis Canada, or to the Alzheimer's Society in honour of both Rose and Lanie.
