He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Johnston and Muriel Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Ann McKechnie; his daughters, Leanne, Kim (Dean) and Tracey; his stepdaughter Meghan (Peter); his grandchildren, Sienna, Jazmin, Autumn, Jorja, Reese and Parker; and his brother Murray (Jean).
