She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Thompson and Minnie Thompson; her sister Muriel; and her former husband Frank. She is survived by: her sons, Bryden (Colleen) of West Kelowna and Malcolm (Edna) of North Vancouver; her grandchildren, Bryden John and Meghan; her stepgrandchildren, Tira and Trina; and also Deb. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Never seeming to get enough of the arts, she donated her time and experience to the board of the City of Kelowna Arts Foundation and as a liaison to Theatre Kelowna and to the Festival Singers.
