He was predeceased by: his parents, James Smith and Lizzie Smith; his brother Newton; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Smith. He is survived by: his children, Dana Kloosterman (Ken), Kimberley Tassone (Bruno) and James Smith (Chanone). He is also survived by nine Grandchildren and fourteen Great Grandchildren.
