He was predeceased by: his wife Irene; and his parents, William McKay and Judith McKay. He is survived by: his brothers, Jock (Denny) and Bill (Wendy); and his children, Deborah, William (Ruth), James and Richard (Kim). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
