She was predeceased by: her parents, Helena Melchkart and Michael Melchkart; the father of her children Glen; her son Mel; her siblings, Trudy, Mike, Eugene and Cletus; and her grandson Scott.

She is survived by: her daughters, Maureen Nelson and Judy Tolmie; her grandmother Stacie Neufeld (Bob); and her siblings, Ralph Melchkart and Helen Boyle (Ed). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
