It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Harder (Chilliwack, British Columbia), who passed away on October 14, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine Fast; his parents, Jacob Harder and Kathie Harder; his brothers, Walter Harder and Alvin Harder; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Harder and Esther Harder.
He is survived by: his sisters, Lillian Macauley (Roger) and Alice Harder; his children, David Harder (Marianne) and Louise Pichler (Al); and his grandchildren, Breanne Dejong (Luke), Jaclyn Widenmaier (Scott), Rachel Tourville (Danny), Kurt Pichler, Alex Pichler (Janice), Eric Pichler and Catalina Johnston. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
