He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Scott and Bertha Scott; and his brother Doug. He is survived by: his brother Jim; his sisters-in-law, Dianne and Norma Grace; and his nieces, Stacey Pilato and Jody Scott.
Jack was recognized with the 125th Anniversary of the Confederation of Canada Medal (1992) for his significant contribution to compatriots, community and to Canada.
