We bid farewell to Iva Christine Hancock of Chilliwack, British Columbia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 2, 2024 at the age of 87. Iva Christine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Victor George Hancock (Vic); her stepson Doug Adair; her parents, William Ewart and Susan Clark; and her siblings, Jean Knapp, Grace Gilbert, Margaret Haskins, Blanche Little and Lewis Clark.
She is survived by: her brother Hugh Clark (Heather); her daughters, Dawn McKay (Mike), Lynne Pearson (Matt), Kim Hancock and Erin Hancock; her daughter-in-law Dianne Adair; her grandchildren, Lisa Adair (Chad), Danielle Adair, Joel Burke (Jennifer), Laura Burke (Ian Warburton), Kathleen Leslie, Will Pearson (Tracy Farrell), Joy Pearson (Griffin Wright), Joshua Britton, Mackenzie Britton (Jesse Sills-Gilligan), Lucas Britton, Dustin McKay and Sean McKay; and her great grandchildren, William, Zachary Leslie and Theodore Burke. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Chilliwack Society for Community Living, in recognition of the many years of care they have provided to Erin, Iva's youngest daughter; or to the United Church of Canada in Iva's name.
