George Fielding Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Fielding in Chilliwack, British Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 4, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Melba Joyce Harkness of Belmore; his parents-in-law, Kay Smithers and Robert "Buster" Smithers; and his brother John. He is survived by: his father Robert George Fielding of Liverpool; his spouse Robbie Smithers; his children, Robin, Kelly and Patrick; his son-in-law Shaun Collard; his grandchildren, Colton, Aubrey and Natalie; his pets, Bailey and Boston; his brother Robert Fielding; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Lowrie, Joy Fielding, Janet Fielding and Joe Tatangelo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the ALS Society of BC, the Alzheimer's Society of BC, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the National Police Federation Benevolent Foundation.
