With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anna Elizabeth Ellen Matthews (Chilliwack, British Columbia), born in Wroxeter, Ontario, who passed away on February 26, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Anna Elizabeth Ellen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Anna Elizabeth Ellen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Matthews; and her son Bobby Matthews. She is survived by: her daughter Catherine; her son-in-law Barry Eggen; her grandchildren, Mary (Larsen) and Aaron; and her great grandchild Sonya Larsen.
There will be no public service, but if friends or family so desire they may make a donation to the Heritage Village Living Enrichment Fund.
