Sonia Gibson Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sonia Gibson of Chetwynd, British Columbia, born in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, who passed away on July 24, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Viola Miller and Donald Miller; and her nephews, Scott and Brent Miller. She is survived by: her children, Kelly Thompson (Tyler), Boden Gibson and Ben Cardinal; her grandchildren, Austen Thompson (Alisha Graff), Dreyten Thompson, Zane Gibson, Gage Gibson and Lexie Gibson; her siblings, Teresa Stojan, Kathy Bowen (John), Richard Miller (Patty) and David Miller; her former husband Bernard Gibson; and her mother-in-law Margaret Gibson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Due to COVID restrictions, a private graveside service was held on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 1:00pm at Brookside Cemetery, Dawson Creek, BC.
