It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest James Simpson of Chetwynd, British Columbia, who passed away on December 21, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Duncan Simpson (John); his siblings-in-law, Reenie Simpson and Del Kelly; his niece Heather Simpson; and his nephew Kelly Kelly.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ann Simpson; his children, Sarah Budke (Dominick), David Simpson, Michelle Blackwell (Bill), Colleen Lightburn (Tommy) and John Simpson (Gen); and his siblings, Phyllis Kelly, Ed (Mary Jo), Doug (Hanna) and Harold. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
