It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Wilfred Sweeney of Castlegar, British Columbia, born in Dryden, Ontario, who passed away on September 19, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Sweeney and Bob Sweeney; his wife Doris; his son Dallas; his sister Leone; and his son-in-law Jack.

He is survived by: his children, Pat (Linda), Jon (Lindsey) and Marilyn; his grandchildren, Nicole, Dylan, Maggie (Jim) and Helen (Adam); his great grandchildren, Lily, Maisie, Mayra and Edward; his sister Irene; and his siblings-in-law, Merle and Davy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and extended family.
