He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Surgenor and Georgina Surgenor; his son James; his grandson Jonathon; his brother Neil; his siblings-in-law, Gwen and Denis; and his brother Lorne.
He is survived by: his wife Lavern; his sister Gina; his children, Laura (Jeff) and Caelem (Hannah); his stepchildren, Emily and Dean; his grandchildren, Katy, Jack, William and Ava; and his loyal fur-companion Steve.
Even though Everette himself required considerable technical support at times, he received the Provincial Public Sector Builders Award in recognition of his contributions to technology.
