He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Quiding and Mary Quiding of Blueberry Creek; his son Derek Quiding; and his parents-in-law, Betty, Paul Oglow, Lester Michelson and Ern.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Daphne, Greyson and Callum.
In Ern's memory, donations may be made to Supercat Studios in Castlegar, an amazing environment for children to learn and express their love of music. Donations will provide music education to children who are unable to afford this experience.
