It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Block of Campbell River, British Columbia, who passed away on August 24, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William Block; and her son Gordon. She is survived by: her sons, William (Debbie), Ron (Christine Baxandall) and Gary (Deborah Gray); her grandchildren, Jerry (Shannon), Casey, Darrell (Cindy), Jacquelyn, Thea and Megan; her stepgrandchildren, Ryan (Jacqueline), Chelsey (Ryan) and Daylan; and her brother Frank Kynoch (Marilyn). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Campbell River Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Store where Mary spent more than two enjoyable decades volunteering her time.
