She was predeceased by: her husband James Francis Wolter; her parents, James Leo Murphy and Blanche Marie Murphy (Desilets); and her sister Helen Blanche Hannon (Nor Hannon). She is survived by: her children, Marcy Wolter, Randall Wolter (Nancijo), Linda Pettit, Erin Wolter and Michael Wolter (Diane).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to one of five places that held a special place in Doris's heart. They are Doctors Without Borders, Campbell River Food Bank, St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Salvation Army, and Campbell River Hospital Foundation.
