She was predeceased by: her mother Edna Ponka; her daughter Tammy (Karen); her grandsons, Wyatt and Gabe; her uncles, Artu and Teddy; her aunt Trudy; her cousin Butchy (Aiti); and also Mike.
She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer (Glen); her granddaughters, Mercedes (Nick) and Madisson; her great grandchildren, Luca, Milana and Ethan; her siblings, Joanne Forbes, Dianne Champagne, Robert Champagne, Gary Champagne and Angella Walls; and her close friends, Peter Amore, Kat Lohr and Melody Auld.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to the SPCA or the cancer lodge in Victoria.
