It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jivana Tao (Campbell River, British Columbia), born in Smithers, British Columbia, who passed away on April 18, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joan Law and Yvon Desloges. She is survived by: her husband Nity Tonru; her stepdaughters, Roxanne Murphy and Laura Murphy; and her grandson Michael.

“We are jivana’s neighbor #4 , she was a kind, thoughtful lady. She is sadly missed, so hard to believe. I open my blinds and l cry knowing she isn’t next door. The birds loved her too, as she always had food for them. But our strata had to stop us from having bird feeders as they were attracting rats. So now when l see her, l think of my friend. We miss her. Sincerely, bob and judy perry.”
