“Jim and I were friends from the time he was in grade 8 at Holliston school. I remember 1 time when we all went camping on a late fall Friday on the outskirts of Saskatoon. It was in a large field near the Grasswoods over pass. His dad gave us a ride in his Corvair. We often spent fall or spring weekends hunting rabbits but usually farther out across the highway from SIR. Well it snowed all night and we woke up to a field and tent covered in snow. His dad got the hint and came and got us.”
