It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Henry Zapshala of Campbell River, British Columbia, who passed away on July 7, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walery and Joanne. He is survived by: his wife Ellen; and his son Albert.

I managed to keep them together until the end of the Covid protocols, and dad went into long term care March 2021.

He endured a long, slow decline as Parkinson's disease consumed his body over the last few years.
