Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Douglas John Marion of Campbell River, British Columbia, born in Calgary, Alberta, who passed away at the age of 71, on December 10, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine and George; his brother Keith; and his nephew Larry Jr.. He is survived by: his sons, Christopher and Timothy; his grandchildren, Lucas, Alyssa and Ariana; and his sisters, Joyce Lalonde, Enid and Laura. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He received his K.C. in 2017 reflecting his contributions to the legal community, including the mentorship of young lawyers.
