It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Murray Bavis (Campbell River, British Columbia), born in Victoria, British Columbia, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joan Bavis and Gus Bavis. He is survived by: his friends, Janet, Peter and Patty Jorgensen; his wife Patty; his children, Robin Jackson (Keith) and Clayton Macdonald; his grandchildren, Payton, Taylor, Madison, Aidan and Graiden; his siblings, Donna Salikin (Joe) and Paul (Cindy); his nephews, Kevin, Steven and Matt; his niece Lisa; and his caregivers, Miranda, Colleen and Nicola. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Dying with Dignity Canada in Murray's memory.
