With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Salvatore Pignanelli (Burnaby, British Columbia), who passed away on March 5, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Salvatore may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He is survived by: his children, Rosa (Salvatore), Saverio, Antonietta (Benedetto) and Francesco (Rosanna); his siblings, Rita, Teresa and Francesco; his sister-in-law Rosina; and his significant other Giuseppina. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bell and Burnaby Funeral Chapel (4276 Hastings St, Burnaby, BC V5C2J6). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Helen's Parish (3860 Triumph St, Burnaby, BC V5C2A6).
