She was predeceased by: her mother Miriam Edwards (Oatey) of Calgary; her brothers, Larry Edwards and Doug Edwards; her in-laws, Bill and Alberta Phillips; her sister Lorraine; her brother-in-law Bill Dowding; her father Manley Edwards; and also Lorne.
She is survived by: her significant other William "Bud" Phillips; her children, Dave Phillips (Debbie) and Deborah Phillips (Thomas Froese); and her siblings-in-law, Barry (Lena) and Norma Phillips. She is also survived by her family and friends.
Her ministry through service was lifelong – in her quick little car Kay delivered meals, collected group members who didn't drive, dropped off donations, or "swung by" to say a quick hello or deliver something for a friend.
