Gilbert Joseph Alfred Verret Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2025, at the age of 87, Gilbert Joseph Alfred Verret in Burnaby, British Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothea. He is survived by: his siblings, Jacquelin (Jack) and Huguette; his daughter Joanne Barnes; his son-in-law George; his son Paul; his daughter-in-law Deanna; his son Philippe; and his grandsons, Conner and Carter Verret.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Evangelist Chapel at the Gardens of Gethsemani Catholic Cemetery (15694 32 Ave, Surrey, BC V3S9V1). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM. A reception will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Roma Hall (940 Ewen Ave, New Westminster, BC V3M5C8).
