Francesco Giurleo Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francesco Giurleo (Burnaby, British Columbia), who passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincenzo Giurleo and Catarinia Cará (Reggio Calabria); his sisters, Filomena Giurleo and Rosa Giurleo; his children, Catarinia Giurleo and Nicodemo Salvatore (late Annunziata Scali); his grandsons, Francesco and Nicholas; and his great grandchild Austin.
He is survived by: his siblings, Concetta Giurleo and Nicodemo Giurleo; his wife Angela Giurleo; and his children, Vincenzo Giurleo (Maria Giove) and Umberto Giurleo (late Patricia Reinheimer).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ocean View Funeral Home (4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC V5J1A4). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish (2025 Napier St, Vancouver, BC V5L2N8). A committal service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Ocean View Funeral Home & Burial Park (4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC V5J1A4).
