She was predeceased by: her parents, Ignazia Fontana and Francesco Fontana; her son-in-law Giuseppe Maggiore; her nephew Emmanuele Valenti; her sister Giovanna Ferrante; and also Giuseppe Sciortino.
She is survived by: her children, Grazia, Ignazia (Alain) and Vincenzo; her grandchildren, Jacqueline, Tonia (Giuseppe), Vanessa (Christopher), Anthony (Kym), Gianluca and Sawyer; her great grandchildren, Tristan, Francesco, Lucas, Gavin, Giulia, Zachary, Cadance, Massimo and Parker; and her sister Maria (Isidoro). She is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.
A prayer will be held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Holy Cross Parish (1450 Delta Ave, Burnaby, BC V5B3G2). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the Ocean View Funeral Home & Burial Park (4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC V5J1A4).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Antonina's memory to the BC Bladder Cancer Foundation.
