It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maralyn E. Lind (Bowser, British Columbia), born in Vancouver, British Columbia, who passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyril Chauncey and Edith Chauncey (Lumsden); and her sister Dorothy Newcombe. She is survived by: her husband Gary Lind; her sister Grace Nikander (Ed) of Arizona; her sons, Dan Dietterle (Robbin), Bill Dietterle (Shannon) and Doug Dietterle of Manitoba; and her grandchildren, Amanda, Lauren, Ashlyn, Lydia, Juleanne and Colton.

“We are so sorry to hear of Maralyn’s passing. We got to know her in Prince George in the 70’s when we were neighbours on Parker Drive. We both had sons of similar ages and we had many fun times together. Maralyn was a very supportive and encouraging person. Over the years through many moves for both of us we managed to keep in touch through letters, phone calls, emails and on rare occasions, actual visits.
