He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Bernt and Margaret Bernt (Brickwell); his significant other Mary Bernt (Cooper); his daughters, Wendy Bernt and Jennifer Bernt; and his siblings, James Bernt (Margaret), Judy Taylor (Larry) and Crystal Tate (Rod). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many many friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made in Ron's name to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation, the Terry Fox Foundation or the BC SPCA.
